Pregnancy and birth aren’t just medical events—they are deeply personal experiences. Your voice, intuition, and preferences matter. You deserve to approach this chapter with confidence, knowing that you are supported every step of the way.
I would love to walk alongside you on this journey, answering your questions, easing your worries, and helping you gain clarity so you can step into motherhood feeling empowered and informed.
You are capable, and together, we can make this experience one of strength and confidence.
With Love,
Lauren

What should I expect during an in-home lactation consultation?
During an in-home consultation, our lactation consultant will assess your baby’s latch, provide hands-on guidance, and offer personalized tips to support your breastfeeding journey. We’ll also address any concerns or challenges you're facing and create a plan to help you and your baby thrive.
How soon after giving birth should I schedule a lactation consultation?
Ideally it's best to schedule an appointment with an LC in the first few days after birth, even if things seem to be going well. Having an extra set of skilled eyes can ensure you and your baby get a good breastfeeding start.
Do you offer support for mothers with multiples or premature babies?
Yes, we provide specialized care for mothers with multiples or preemies. We understand that these situations come with unique challenges, and our consultants are experienced in offering tailored breastfeeding and care strategies to meet your babies' specific needs.
What if I have trouble breastfeeding after my consultation?
We’re here to support you! If you continue to have difficulties, follow-up consultations can help fine-tune your breastfeeding approach and address any new challenges that arise. Ongoing support is available to ensure both you and your baby are successful in your breastfeeding journey.
What topics are covered in a lactation class?
Our lactation classes cover a range of essential topics, including latch and positioning techniques, recognizing your baby’s feeding cues, building and maintaining milk supply, and troubleshooting common breastfeeding challenges. We also offer guidance tailored to special circumstances, like caring for multiples or preemies.
What is a weighted feed, and how does it help with breastfeeding?
A weighted feed involves weighing your baby before and after breastfeeding to determine how much milk they’ve consumed. This method helps monitor your baby’s intake, especially if you're concerned about milk supply or feeding efficiency. It's a great way to ensure your baby is getting enough nourishment.
