To provide the highest level of care and to respect the time reserved for each family, the following policies apply to all lactation consultations and services:
Scheduling & Attendance
Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. Please plan to be available and ready at the scheduled start time, whether the visit is virtual or in-person.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations or requests to reschedule made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time are eligible for a full refund or reschedule, unless otherwise noted.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment are eligible for a 50% refund only for the set appointment time, except in the case of a medical/ sick emergency.
No-Show Policy
- If a client does not attend the scheduled appointment and does not provide notice, this is considered a no-show.
- No-shows are not eligible for a refund, as the appointment time was held and the provider was present and prepared.
Provider Delays or Schedule Adjustments
- In rare cases where a schedule adjustment is necessary, clients will be notified as soon as possible.
- If a client agrees to the adjusted time, the appointment is considered confirmed and subject to the same cancellation and no-show policies outlined above.
Emergencies
True medical emergencies will always be handled with care and understanding. Please reach out as soon as possible if an emergency arises.
